Solo

I worked in the Art Department as a 3D Artist on Solo: A Star Wars Story. The job was to concept many of the vehicles and environments in the film.

I was also the Ncam Operator thoughout the Heist scene. Ncam’s unique augmented reality platform was selected to provide live, pre-visualisation on set, enabling Director Ron Howard, Director of Photography Bradford Young, cast, camera teams and editors to better convey complex bluescreen VFX scenes, as well as speeding up the post-production process.

Concepts for a Speeder (pictured below) for the heist scene.

Swoop Bike

Swoop bike concepts for the bridge heist scene.

Bridge Heist

I worked closley with Design Supervisor James Clyne and Designer Neil Lamont to concept the bridge and the help storyboard the heist scene. I was also a Ncam operator on these shots, which helped the crew see the on-set action and the CG background composited together in real-time, live on set.

Falcon Clamp

The film features a Clamp on the Millennium Falcon. I created several designs and this is the final version. Unfortunately this scene wasn’t as funny as it was meant to be ;)

NCam Operator

Working as a NCam Operator with Nviz which brought to life The Imperial train heist scene. The action sequence lasted more than 10 minutes in duration and was months in the making.
