Eternals

I was part of the the Art Department team working as a VFX Art Director on this show. The job required me to concept all the built sets and VFX extensions for the VFX Department to be used on VR headsets. I also created vehicles, props and creatures.

The Domo

Working with a team of concept artists and modellers to design the final version of the Eternals ship. This was modelled in Maya and textured in Substance Painter.

Easter Island

Here I had to create the end scene where Tiamut, the Celestial, is born. It was to give the sense of scale and to gauge how much of the hand we could see in camera.

Babylon

The front entrance of Babylon was built in Fuerteventura. I was tasked with creating the whole city extensions for different scenes throughout the film.

Celestral

A ZBrush concept model was sent from Marvel that I cleaned up and posed using Zbrush. The final model was used and built for the inside of the Domo ship set.

Forest Compound

For the forest compound, I helped the Art Department create the layout before it was built on location.

Pyramid Set

This set was built at Black Park next to Pinewood Studios. The renders show the built set (grey) and the VFX extensions (green). The models were used by the VFX department on Location to see the VFX extensionson using a AR App on an IPad.

Rock extension

A rock built in ZBrush for a small scene filmed at Pinewood. The terrain in Fuerteventura was so harsh it was deemed easier to build and film it in the studio.
